The European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) has developed and provided the Ethical Guidelines which outline the general standards of professional conduct to which ICP’s member organisations must subscribe. Each professional body is responsible for ensuring that their accredited and pre-accredited psychotherapists adhere to the highest ethical and practice guidelines. They are also responsible for managing complaints, according to their agreed procedures.
